This review will be about The Bone Season by Samantha Shannon, which was published August 20, 2013. It is technically the second book of The Bone Season Series. The first is a 0.5 (kind of like a novella or filler) but I like to read the regular ones most of the time. There are, including the .5’s, 6 completed books in the series with 3 to come out in the following years. Today’s review will be about a book called Giving the Dragon Fire by Victoria Jayne. It is the first book of the series, which will be released on April 16, 2024, the rest are not out yet, but can be read as a standalone. It is an adult paranormal romance, shapeshifter-fantasy series in a modern world setting.  A little bit about the book; Ella Kincaid just finished her final exams and has one last weekend to have fun before entering the grueling world of a corporation to begin her dream job.
